Printy Doodle
YEP. THE KIDS REALLY DO THIS.
If the name didn’t give it away, the kids came up with it.
We started Printy Doodle with a 3D printer, a few ideas, and our kids. We wanted them to experience what it feels like to work for something instead of just being given it, to make something of their own, and to feel proud when that work pays off.
Somewhere along the way, giving back became part of it too. They’re learning that something they make can put a smile on a friend’s face, support their school, or help someone in their community. And as parents, that might be our favorite lesson of all.
The kids have the ideas and help make it all happen. Dad handles the marketing, Mom keeps us organized, and we both occasionally remind everyone that we do, in fact, have a bedtime.
The products are fun. Watching our kids learn to create, work, give back, and take pride in something of their own is what Printy Doodle is really about.
